OUR
ADVENTURES
When traveling with Da Vinci Capers, you leave your work behind and begin a new personal journey. With an open mind and caring mentors, you experience arts that you may have thought about, but never had the opportunity to try.
In Italy, the expression is ‘ prova!’ – just try it! You hear it all the time… Leonardo da Vinci thought, tried, succeeded – but, also failed (from melting ice sculptures to a river of paint). We are our worse critics: “The greatest deception men suffer is from our own opinions,” Leonardo once said.
We really learn by experiencing. When you physically do something – your senses become alive: you pick vegetables and smell the tomatoes reeling you back to childhood days; you pick up a piece of charcoal and feel the glide across the page; for the first time, you write a paragraph about your forgotten uncle whom you were so fond of and sense the urgency to write more...the list goes on.
We are just a different kind of travel experience – the discovery is you and cultural immersion – not just collecting post cards. Our local artists, teachers and scholars are thrilled to introduce you to their art – to ignite a new passion! We invite you to ‘prova!’

Tuscany
The birthplace of the Renaissance. What made this small region become so suddenly alive, to push the envelope in both the arts and science? Come capture this spirit with Da Vinci Capers. |

Amalfi
Ah, beautiful Amalfi with the crown jewel of Ravello. Artists of all studies have touched these shores and never left – writers, composers, and artists. A soothing blue surrounds above and below, breathing deeply with stretched out arms. It’s a paradise for creating. |

Sicily - Coming Soon
A new adventure in the works. With maintaining our motto – unpack once; we are developing a sailing trip around the island. The largest island in the Mediterranean, this will be two 10-day trips back-to-back. We follow Odysseus’ journey and listen to the Sirens call. |

Fun Local Classes
Finally, we have a local enrichment course that is not only fun, but you will learn a ton. We are lucky to have Antonio Papuzza living in Boulder who is a native Italian and has a unique set of skills to help us learn and remember!
